16-19 Tuition Fund Statement

'The 16 to 19 tuition fund is £96 million of one-off funding for the 2020 to 2021 academic year only. It is ring fenced funding for schools, colleges and all other 16 to 19 providers to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from coronavirus (COVID-19). ' - Gov.uk website

The 16-19 tuition fund has been used to support Sixth Form students retaking GCSE Maths and English qualifications.

The fund has also supported the resourcing of after-school and lunchtime tuition sessions for students in Year 12 and 13 in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, and for resources to allow Year 13 students to join Year 12 groups for refresher sessions on topics covered during COVID lockdowns.
