University of Gloucestershire 'Transition Tuesday' Webinars- Starting Tuesday 6th July, 1pm.

Join the University of Gloucestershire in July for a series of webinars every Tuesday at 1pm, for an hour where we will bring experts and current students into the comfort of your own home. 

The four topics are*:

  • 06 July - Preparing for university
  • 13 July - Mental health and wellbeing at university
  • 20 July - Preparing for university- Critical Thinking
  • 27 July - University of Gloucestershire Students panel and Q&A- What is it actually like? Tips we wish we’d had.

The webinars are open to all students who are planning on going to university or university level study this Autumn, no matter which university you are going to, or hope to go to.

Parenting Mental Health Webinar- Tuesday 29th June, 7pm

Parenting Mental Health is a community and UK registered charity that supports parents supporting young people with mental health issues. Parents are invited to join this webinar in which Suzanne Alderson will share her approach of ‘Partnering not Parenting’ when a child becomes anxious or depressed, how to cope with our own emotions, and how parents can play a vital support role. Following the presentation Suzanne will be on hand to answer questions or offer support.

Elevate's Parent/Guardian Webinar Series

We’re excited to announce that all parents/guardians now have exclusive access to Elevate Education’s Parent/Guardian Webinar Series this year.

Elevate works with students across all year groups, delivering high impact workshops on study skills, motivation, wellbeing, and exam preparation. By tuning into their webinar series, you will learn how to better support your children at home through reinforcing the skills they learn at school.

The webinar is run live online from 6pm – 7pm where the presenter will share Elevate’s key research and skills, and will conduct a live Q&A so you can ask them questions directly.

ASK Workpays Events Webinars & Workshops

Please see below links to all of ASK Events upcoming  parent/guardian workshops happening throughout June and July. We hope these workshops will give some hints and tips on how to help your children stand out when applying for Apprenticeships.
