Careers Programme - BUSINESS & Employers
At Cleeve, we have cultivated strong and mutually beneficial working relationships with employers that significantly enhance our students' experience of work and their future prospects.
Through ongoing collaboration, local businesses and industry leaders actively participate in our careers programme, offering real world insight and practical skills that align with current market demands.
This might look like:
- Exhibiting at our annual careers fair
- Delivering an inspiring lecture or assembly
- Supporting a classroom project or activity
- Taking part in mock interviews
- Offering a Year 10 or Year 12 work experience placement
- Taking part in our STEM and Cyber activity days
We would love to hear from you if you'd like to support our careers programme.

Work Experience
Work experience is vital to young people at school, college, and as they enter the labour market. They get first hand experience of the work place and an insight into jobs and sectors which increases their confidence and employability skills. They also gain experience in building their CVs and networking with professionals.
Placements are a great idea for employers. They help you give back by giving a young person an opportunity. It could potentially find you a brilliant future employee, and they will help you give your current employees some management training.
We have put together a guide to help employers who are hosting a student for work experience (link to follow).
