Careers Programme - Statutory INFORMATION
At Cleeve School, we are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive Careers Programme of careers advice, guidance and information to help them decide their next steps at Post 16 and Post 18.
We believe that providing good careers guidance and preparing students for the 'working world' is an important role in our curriculum, raising aspirations and opportunities available to them is key within their learning.
How do we assess the impact of our provision?
The impact of individual encounters is predominantly assessed via student feedback. We monitor access to opportunities and the uptake by different groups of students. The overall effectiveness of the careers programme at Cleeve is assessed using the Careers and Enterprise Future Skills Questionnaire. We also assess the provision through the use of Compass+ which allows us to evaluate our current provisions and plan for future activities.
Indicators of impact include:
- The number/percentage of students completing a work experience placement
- The number/percentage of students who have Post-16 provision in place by the summer
- Post-16 and Post-18 destination data
- Post-16 NEET data
- Gatsby Benchmark indicators met
