Gaining Get into Teaching work experience at Cleeve School is an excellent way to become familiar with our school environment, meet our dedicated teaching staff, and experience the enthusiasm of our wonderful students.
Work experience is an important part of any PGCE application, as it demonstrates commitment to the profession and helps you develop a realistic understanding of school life. Whether you choose to spend a single day with us, or several, you will have the opportunity to visit the department aligned with the subject you hope to teach, observe lessons, and see our approach to teaching and learning in action.

We warmly welcome prospective trainees seeking classroom experience; while an enhanced DBS is preferred (but not required for a single day visit) we kindly encourage you to apply for a volunteer DBS prior to your visit
