Mentoring

As part of the course trainees will have specific mentors to guide and support them throughout their qualification.

Mentors are experienced teachers with a passion for education and high quality teacher training. All mentors receive specific mentor training and are dedicated to supporting trainees throughout their training with Cleeve Training Hub.

Within their weekly timetable, trainees will have specific lessons that are allocated as time to meet their mentor, discuss their progress, experiences to date and the course in general. The relationships that trainee teachers have with their mentors is crucial and every effort is made to ensure that the partnership is the best that it can be for all of our trainees so that they feel supported, encouraged and able to learn from their mentor over the duration of the course.

Trainees will also be allocated a Professional Mentor who will oversee the progress of all trainee teachers at the placement school.
